Her career spans multiple genres, including fiction, memoir, and self-help, with works like The Signature of All Things (2013), a historical novel, and Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear (2015), which explores creativity and inspiration. Gilbert’s writing often delves into themes of self-discovery, love, and personal transformation, making her a beloved voice in contemporary literature.

In fall 2025, Elizabeth Gilbert will release her highly anticipated memoir, All the Way to the River, chronicling her profound relationship with her late partner, Rayya Elias.
