The Hotchkiss-Fyler House Museum is a Victorian mansion that was home to two generations of Torrington residents. Gertrude F. Hotchkiss, the last family member to occupy the home, bequeathed the house and contents to the Society in 1956. The interior of this grand house features mahogany paneling, ornate carvings, stenciled walls, murals, parquet floors and ornamental plaster treatments. Original family furnishings collections of fine and decorative arts. Artists represented are: Ammi Phillips, E.I. Couse, Winfield Scott Clime and George Lawrence Nelson.

Torrington Recreation Summer Market
Come check out the Torrington Recreations 2025 Summer Concert Series at Coe Park! Over the course of 14 weeks, every Thursday, starting June 5th and running through September 4th, we will be hosting 14 different bands who will perform a range of different genres. Concerts will be held on the outside portico at the Coe Memorial Park (101 Litchfield Road) from 6pm-8pm. Bring your blankets, chairs, food and drinks to enjoy our concerts in the park!

- Under the Sea: Dive deep into ocean adventures! Explore marine life, create ocean-themed art, and embark on underwater-themed challenges.
- Superheroes: Unleash your superpowers! Design your own superhero persona, participate in "hero training," and work together to solve camp "missions."
- Around the World: Take a journey across the globe as we explore different cultures, languages, and traditions through games, food, and creative projects.
- Sports: Get your game face on! Try out various sports, build team spirit, and compete in friendly matches while learning the value of teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Outer Space: Blast off into space for a week of cosmic exploration! Learn about planets, create space crafts, and go on an epic space-themed scavenger hunt.
- Flora and Fauna: Discover the beauty of nature! Learn about plants and animals, explore local ecosystems, and create nature-inspired art.

The Rich Badowski Band was formed in 2009. Rich Badowski, Harmonica/Entertainer is a two time participant in the International Blues Band Challenge in Memphis, TN back in 2013 and 2018. The band covers a wide range of musical styles including blues, rock, country, R&B, jazz and much more.

Join us on June 29, 2025 for a thrilling baseball game between your Hartford Yard Goats and the opposing New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Our bus will pick everyone up in the Torrington Plaza and leave at 11:15am sharp for a 1:10pm start game. On the bus, join us for a trivia game to test your CT knowledge for the chance to win Yard Goats gear on the way to the game! We will then enjoy a great game of baseball in our reserved section, and get the chance for kids to run the bases after the conclusion of the game.
Tickets must be purchased by June 13, 2025 to be able to join us on our bus trip on June 29, 2025.
