Meet us in the Children’s Room for Baby Time! This calm, cozy program is designed for pre-walkers who aren't quite ready for the high energy of Rhyme Time. We will focus on nursery rhymes, lullabies, and bonding with your baby.

Immerse yourself in the soothing and transformative experience of a Sound Bath with Gong. This unique class combines the ancient practice of sound healing with the powerful vibrations of a gong and other instruments, offering a holistic approach to relaxation and well-being.

What to Expect:

*Guided Meditation: Begin with a brief guided meditation to help you settle into the space and prepare for the sound journey.

*Sound Immersion: Lie down comfortably as the facilitator plays the gong and other instruments, creating an immersive soundscape. The vibrations and tones of the gong promote deep relaxation, reduce stress, and support mental clarity.

The Gunn Museum and Makerspace present a series of craft workshops inspired by artifacts from the Museum’s collections.

May’s workshop focuses on basket weaving! See examples of different baskets from the Museum’s collection and make one to bring home.

Yoga is open to everyone 13 and older of all skills and abilities. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, anyone can participate in our Tuesday night class. Pace yourself, practice at your level, rest when needed. Do you love basketball? Is it too cold out to play on the outdoor courts? On Tuesdays from 7pm - 9pm, Kent Park and Recreation will be hosting drop-in adult basketball in the Kent Center School Gym. All levels of experience are welcome! No registration required. Please bring your own balls.

Perfect for 18 - 36 months, but fun for everyone!

Lots of rhymes, a sprinkling of songs, and one or two shared board books round out this library program that is perfect for little ones who need to get those wiggles out. Stay to PLAY! After the rhymes, stay for some unstructured play time with other kiddos.
