Artist's Reception: Justine Ickes

Contemporary art by Justine Ickes will be on display at the Norfolk Library during the month of May. Based in Torrington, Justine creates nature-inspired art that brings people a sense of joy and lightness. Think cheerful flower bouquets, fanciful still life tableaus, and imaginary landscapes with vibrant colors, lively patterns, and whimsical motifs. Her art celebrates color and shape, with richly layered and visibly textured surfaces created using acrylic, mixed media and collage.
