Bloomin Spring
Studio 33 Art & Frame Gallery presents “Blooming Spring”, an exhibit featuring the work of local mixed media collage artist Gretchen van der Lyke. The exhibit opens Saturday, May 3, 2025, 10:00 AM. Studio 33 is collaborating with New London Cultural District’s firstSaturdayNL event; “Join us for FSNL where a dynamic fusion of visual art, music, shopping, and dining come together across multiple venues in the city’s downtown Cultural District.” Gretchen van der Lyke’s strongest influence has been botanical art, she majored in art and art history at Clark University, studied at Connecticut College and Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, and holds a Certificate of Decorative Painting from Rhode Island School of Design. 140 Bank Street, New London, CT, www.studio33gallery@gmail.com, 860-442-6355.
